"Fabulous location! Fenced in yard for the pup is ideal. All of the amenities needed in the kitchen (updated/usable grill would be nice) and the bed is very comfortable. The swing on the upper deck is perfect for bird/dolphin watching with coffee and/or afternoon wine. Diane is super sweet. Can't wait to return soon."

"We had a delightful week with our extended family staying at Wakita Wave. The home was exactly as pictured. It was clean and spacious, and the ocean views were incredible. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were perfect for gathering, and the decks were well-appointed with furniture for sitting and enjoying the beautiful view. The beachfront was very quiet, and it was an easy drive to shops and restaurants on Folly Beach."

"The property is beautiful and right on the beach. At high tide the water comes up to the stairs which is very cool and a bit scary at the same time. Low tide you can enjoy a walk on the packed sand. Each bedroom has a separate bathroom which is nice for all getting ready at the same time. The additional upstairs bedroom suite worked well for quarantining the guests who caught COVID on the airplane. They still enjoyed the views from the upper level! I am not happy about the additional $498 surprise charge from VRBO just for using your booking App. Buyer beware!"

"House is as advertised. Small refund for lack of direct beach access which was an inconvenience but it is a short walk down the street to a public entrance to the beach. The beach behind the house was not often crowded but note that high tide comes right up to the rocks by where the stairs are currently blocked off."
