One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. Right from the start,it was not a good stay. The room we reserved was not honored. We had trouble getting into the hotel around 11pm. There was no explanation about how we get back into the hotel at night. Lastly, I was refused a bottle of water to take much needed medication and was told to go and buy it at the OXXO. It was such a disappointing experience, it ruined our trip to a much anticipated visit to Patzcuaro.

I loved staying here! The staff made me feel welcome and helped me with my lack of Spanish. They even got me a taxi to Morelia. I would highly recommend OYO Patzcuaro.

I travel a lot and this by far has been one been the worst property’s I have stayed in. The bed was very uncomfortable, extremely dirty and had a horrible smell. The decorative red pillows have never been washed and smelled like sweat. The room had no ventilation and was full of mold. The shower had hair on the floor and the bathroom was not cleaned. I tried to check out but the owner of the property refused to reimburse any of the of money. I left and check in to a different hotel.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The location was great and close to the plazas. Very short walk to stores and restaurants. It will be nice if this hotel can offer coffee for their guests. Overall a good place to stay. Muy amables y atentos. El lugar es bueno y cerca de las plazas. A poca distancia de tiendas y restaurantes. Deberian ofrecer cafe para los huespedes. En resumen, un buen lugar para hospedarse.

Just a one night stay

I only stayed for one night. The location of the hotel is very close to the plazas which is nice and convenient. There is a lot of food stands and stores nearby. Now, as far as the room is concerned, its okay but nothing worth bragging about. I only have 2 complaints. 1. The wifi is horrible 2. When I made the reservation it was listed as having free continental breakfast but there was none.

A comfortable stay

The location is excellent and very quiet, with a short walk to restaurants and stores and the beautiful colonial centre. The gardens are lovely and there was a seating area outside the room for reading or morning coffee. The room was basic but comfortable for the two nights we were there. The staff was accommodating and friendly.
