Had no issues during my stay, same thing as living in student dorms, check in was very fast and having access to all buildings meant we could use elevators to get around, no need to go up the big stairs haha. The sink is a great touch, and meant we didnt have to go to the shared washrooms as much, was very cheap and the state of the rooms reflected that but 100x better than a hostel! Of course its not a hotel, but will plan to stay here again next time im in Montreal

I can understand how others may have had a bad stay, but ours was about what you pay for. It’s a hostel, communal bathrooms, single rooms, no central air, it’s fairly barebones, but exactly what you’d expect for the cheapest option around. Our room was clean and we were given everything that was advertised on their website. It was cheap accommodations for a cheap price.

Booked for three nights and couldn't sleep with all the noise and the unbearable heat. Opening the window did nothing except add to the noise. Parking is very far from the residence and it's all downhill with three major sets of stairs (meaning that you have to go back up when you leave). Key pickup and return is in a different building.

The location is close to Metro and REM line to access downtown Montreal. It takes a bit of a hike to the building as it is located on a hill. The building is old, they need some plumbing work. The sink in the room is good, but it drains slowly. I reported one of the showers had no hot water and the other didn’t drain properly on a Thursday, by the following Monday nothing was fixed. It was an OK stay.

The property was extremely dirty. We had to request that the washroom be cleaned 6 times because someone threw up all over it. It took 2.5 days to get someone to do any cleaning.

I liked staying here, if I had one complaint it's that the hallways to the doormat feel very... Horror movie? Also I was very surprised to come out of my room to see a guy in a towel walking back to his own room. I thought the dorms were separated by gender for safety reasons-not that I felt unsafe at any point of my stay! Anyway, it was good, they should restock the vending machines more often, also they like- messed with the machines so they can't take coins? My sleep deprived self was not happy having to go back to my room just to grab a card so I could get a snack

Building is up a hill and connected to the University of Montreal. It can be difficult to access the front entrance by car at specific times due to the lot being inaccessible. The area is very walkable and close to the Metro station. The lobby and amenities are great, but the rooms are excruciatingly hot in the summer months. The bathroom/showers are shared & not well maintained since it stays dirty for about 2-3 days max. There is no housekeeping unless your stay is longer than 7 days, so you have to maintain your own room to stay clean. The room itself works for solo-travellers as there is ample room for storage. During my stay, it was generally safe to leave most of my belongings in my room since there was no need for housekeeping (6 night stay).
