- Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a $500 penalty. But since I`m cool, I only allow electronic cigarettes :)

- If a late departure or damage results in a direct refund or reduction for the next reservation, you will be required to pay this amount.

- Have fun! But excessive noise is not allowed in the unit for the tranquility of neighbors. Violation of this rule after two warnings will result in a $500 penalty and immediate eviction without refund.

- If you notice any furniture or amenities in the apartment not working or broken, please let us know within 24 hours of your arrival. Otherwise, the complaint will not be taken into consideration.

- When you make a reservation with me, you agree to all the above apartment rules.

Property is well kept, spacious, and covers all basic needs. The fact that it has a king bed is great, and the bed was comfortable. The biggest issue was that the windowshade is not the proper size for the big window facing St Denis. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you're lying in bed at night and the car headlights flash through the window into your face through the 10 inch space that is exposed. I was able to patch together a solution to make it work but it should be addressed.Also there is a large stain on the kitchen wall dripping down from the fan that looks like it needs a good cleaning. Weird that the coffee maker comes with the wrong size coffee pods. But otherwise the place was clean and minimal. Parking was frustrating - I couldn't figure out how to get a 14 overnight pass as per instructions but found free parking one street over. The host had someone call me to help but I couldn't understand what the instructions were due to language barrier. Nice that they tried to help though, and in general, the hosts were very responsive.

The apartment was clean, warm and comfortable as photos showed. I was asked for a last minute deposit in addition before getting an entrance code and proof of ID and when inquiring for help with a check in form. It was not a simple straightforward process and my phone was dying after traveling and working all day. I found things broken and leaking and wanted to report it so it wasn’t put on me for the deposit and they required I send videos which I was not able to download. It was a real hassle after a long day. Parking in this neighborhood in the winter is very difficult! I would not desire to be in this part of town again because of the street noise and people loitering outside the entrance late at night.

Great location, we would stay in this area again. The bed was comfortable, place was decorated nicely but there were a bunch of small issues. To start, there were some troubles checking in as we were missing the code for the buzzer and apartment door and we had to call customer service to get access. The apartment was nice looking and had everything we needed but a bunch of things were a bit off. Starting with the bathroom, the shower and bathroom floors and the baseboards were quite filthy and the shampoo/conditioner dispensers were leaking onto the floor. The toilet paper dispenser was broken and hanging loosely. The sink constantly dripped and the toilet would refill and run every 5 minutes. I did let the property manger know via text and can provide photos if needed, but they never acknowledged these issues. In the kitchen, the sink was not cleaned well and the A/C unit had a large stain underneath along the wall from previous leakage. The coffee machine still had grounds in it from the previous guest and it did not work properly in general. It was also a different machine than advertised in the photos. Cupboards and surfaces had dents and the front door didn't open fully. I would also note that the floors were the loudest, creakiest floors I've ever stepped on. Normally I never comment on the sound of the floors but they really were extremely loud to the point of being disruptive late at night or if you had a sleeping baby. With some love it could be 5 stars.

We LOVED the location and the loft itself. Although we were on a busy street, it wasn't loud. It was so much fun! Anything you need is within a few blocks. Even an outdoor movie theater! We achieved our PhD in parking while we were there. A neighbor coached us. He main advice was to find the nearest signs about parking and start reading from the top. First of all, don't park overnight on Saint Denis; they street clean at 6 a.m. every day and you may get a ticket. We mainly parked around the block on Rue Drolet and left our car there all week until we had to move it for street cleaning. (Watch where you park on Drolet. If there is a numbered post, you're in an hourly spot. You want a spot without a post which is 95% of the spots.) Use the parking pay box right out the front door of the loft on Saint Denis and pay for a full 24 hours (15). Then just put the ticket on the dash of your car wherever it is parked. You can also pull up on St Denis, buy the ticket first, then go park on Drolet or any other street. You don't need to enter a number for the overnight residential parking spots. Another head's up: We had a situation where we couldn't get in the front door on our last day while loading the car. The code must have timed out at midnight on the day we were leaving. Luckily one of us was still inside, so we propped the door open. So watch out for that. We will 100% stay at this place again. It was clean, comfortable and did I mention its amazing location?!

Lovely apartment, hallway needs light

This charming apartment is in a great location. Some crucial information is missing from the check in process: exactly which lock box is the key in, and how to function with the door key code in a very dark hallway. Eventually we learned to use our phone light to be able to operate the key code. For the first two nights, we did not have bedding for my daughter although the property is listed for 3 people. This was attended to in the 3rd day. It is a sweet apartment, good for rest and relaxation and in winter months is quiet. Although I imagine in summer it would not be so! We loved the beautiful round window.

Super cute loft in great locafion

Modern and spacious interior, newly renovated, well appointed and stocked kitchen. Bike lanes with easy access to downtown, old port and botanical gardens & plateau. The loft is righ next to pedestrian Duluth Ave with BIXI station. As an others mentioned, you may hear people out enjoying St Denis. I did not sleep with earplugs, but if you are a light sleeper this should be sufficient. There was a raucous street party Saturday and the music and noise stopped right at 11pm in line with noise bylaws. The dumpling place downstairs is great, loads of good options in the area to eat and a full fridge and kitchen if you want to cook. The circular window nook is adorable and the modern interior, fully renovated and is integrated with the old building.
