We’ve stayed at the Sandman Hotel Montreal – Longueuil twice now and really enjoy it as a family. The staff is wonderful—so kind and especially sweet with our toddler, which made us feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and we loved having a water view this time around. The location is great—just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Montreal, but close to the main bridge so it’s easy to get across when you want to. It feels like the best of both worlds: peaceful, but still convenient. The only downside is that the on-site restaurant was closed on Sunday, and there aren’t many food options nearby other than the mall. Also, there is some nearby construction, so just something to be aware of. Overall though, we really enjoy staying here as a family. It feels like a great spot for us, and with free parking included, it’s an easy choice. We’ll definitely be back again!

I recently stayed 2 nights with my family. My experience was not that great. The pool was just okay, but the gym was in terrible condition. My room was very disappointing, the air conditioning unit was leaking water, leaving about a quarter of the room soaked, and it wasn’t cooling the room properly. The elevator also wasn’t working properly, which added to the frustration. The only positives were the free parking and the convenient access to the nearby metro.

Most of the things in the property were likeable especially the staff at reception (Emanuella, great job!), location, next door to a transit station and a nice in-house restairant. Only problem we faced was that the elevator did not stop at our floor while coming down. We were not informed about it and had to work our way around it while taking luggage down during checkout.

The room was still dirty, with hair in the bathroom. The bed sheets seemed improperly washed, or possibly not washed at all. On the positive side, the reception desk staff were very helpful.
