Cute hotel with a young vibe. They have welcome drinks for the adults. Beds are comfy. Pillow is fluffed. Room is quiet. Unfortunately the pool has a 10 person limit (is it enforced? Idk) and kids are always there, even during "school hours".

Cool design. Great second floor games and seating area. Excellent top floor gym with amazing views. Room had no closet or dresser. Just hooks on the wall. It’s hard to hang socks on the wall so had to live out of my suitcase. Also the bar and cafe staff were consistently sullen. Different shifts, morning and evening, same problem. It’s expensive as I expect a hotel to be, but utterly joyless and unhappy to serve. Lastly it’s conveniently close to the Via Train. But there’s nothing else nearby. You have to walk a few blocks through an industrial zone and under a scary overpass to get anywhere. No problem if Ubering but uncomfortable for walking.

Weekend getaway from Friday to Sunday. Clean hotel with good parking (I read many horrible reviews for public parking in Montreal, lots of vandalism and car damage) at the hotel. 18-minute walking distance to old Montreal but also close to other major shopping and restaurants.

Everything was great. Nice staff and the room is very clean. Walking distance to DT, old town and underground city. Hopefully there will be more laundry washers and dryers. The whole hotel has only one washer and dryer.
