The hotel was clean, stylish and comfortable. The staff was excellent, fluent in English and a wealth of information. The breakfast at the restaurant was top notch and it was fun to try a new entre each morning. The hotel is going to be going thru a 2 year renovation and I can’t wait to book here again.

The only reason as to 4 stars would be the mini fridge in our room wasn't working which led to our food being compromised. Other than that, it was a beautiful place to stay and would recommend. The room was a bit rundown with hair in the drain, the charging station didn't work etc. Service at the restaurant was exceedingly slow. It all made sense when we found out the hotel is closing soon for two years for renovations problems make more sense. The location was perfect though.

Rooms were very clean and the staff were wonderful. I liked the layout of the rooms, the vibe, and the views of the city. The complimentary waters in our rooms were a very nice touch! We also enjoyed the chocolat chaud that was also complimentary in the lobby. Overall, this place had great value for the price we paid.

We stayed for a week in December. At the daily breakfast, Francine and Mark were extremely warm to talk to and super efficient with their service. Always smiling and full of energy, they deserve a special shout out. Also, hotel staff is bilingual (English and French), so we didn't face any issue at all. Hotel location is quite close to Old Montreal, which is really nice. Also, the hotel is connected via the underground network RES.
