We stayed at Hotel Mortagne for 3 nights over Thanksgiving weekend on a family trip. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location was also convenient, only a short drive from Montreal, which made it easy to explore the area.
However, we paid extra for a room with a jet tub, and unfortunately, it did not work for our entire stay. I reported the issue to the front desk on the second day and was assured it would be fixed, but each night we returned, the tub was still not working. The night staff were kind and offered to switch rooms, but this wasn’t possible since our toddler was already asleep. Even by the final night, the issue remained unresolved.
I contacted Expedia for assistance, but the hotel declined to provide any compensation for the inconvenience. I was disappointed by the lack of follow-through and accountability. While the hotel itself is nice, the way this issue was handled really affected our overall experience.
