Great location right next to the Metro (subway), clean room and friendly staff. The food in their cafe was a bit underwhelming, but I think that's more of an issue around the volume of customers that they get for that? I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

As a solo traveler it was perfect for me. The rooms (including bathroom) were pretty small but I personally don't need much space. The hotel is located in a perfect area near a subway station and the Saint Catherine St which has a ton of restaurants and bars. The only issue for me was that there's no elevator so you have to walk up to your room. But I don't mind the exercise.

Hotel Le Coach is full of charm - from the unique vintage furniture, decor and mid-century aesthetic to the lovely hospitality from Adam, who is determined to make sure you have the best time and everything you need during your stay in Montreal. Oh and he makes a killer coffee as well :) The location is clean, well maintained and it's perfect for getting around the city, next to Berri-UQAM metro station, a bixi station and a bike lane. A home away from home, I would gladly stay here again!

The person who checked us in, Adam, was extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. He carried our bags up and down the stairs, helped us find parking, made an excellent latte, and made staying there feel safe and comfortable.

I recently stayed at this property and overall had a decent experience. The biggest advantage was definitely the location — it’s in an excellent spot, just a short walk from the metro, which made getting around the city extremely convenient. Whether you’re heading out for sightseeing or commuting for work, the accessibility is a huge plus. However, I did run into an issue with the air conditioning. While the listing stated that the rooms were air-conditioned, it turns out the AC is centralized and primarily serves the common areas like the hallways and building lobby. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to have much effect inside the actual rooms, especially during the hotter days. The room stayed quite warm and didn’t cool down as much as I had hoped, which made it a bit uncomfortable at night. If you’re traveling during a cooler season, this probably won’t be a major issue, but during peak summer heat, it’s something to keep in mind. Otherwise, the location alone makes this a solid option for anyone looking to explore the city.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. 3-4 minute walk to the Metro and near a few convenient stores and restaurants. Rooms are a little small, so beware if you are a bigger person, but overall the rooms are very nice and clean and I don’t have any real complaints.

Such a cute boutique hotel. Rooms a little on the smaller side but who spends time in the room in the summer other than to nap or sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Front desk personnel very helpful. The room was very clean and simple. I loved the stay but two issues must be noted: 1. Housekeeping would not replace used towels. I had to get the front desk to replace used towels taken by housekeeping. 2. Stair climbing is necessary. No rooms are on the first floor and no elevator exists in this old but wonderful hotel. All else was great, including the fridge in the room and microwave on the first floor which could be used by guests.
