Very spacious room, only confusing thing was how to get the door to the balcony open. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast. Room was wonderful and location was pretty great. Only minor complaint is having to call the front desk to unlock the door into the lobby before you check in and get your key card.

It was only an overnight stay with another adult just after new year so the cost influences my opinion. The premises was clean and during breakfast, I often saw staff cleaning up. For breakfast, there were eggs (boiled and scrambled), bagels, toast, hash brown patties, sausage patties, orange juice, assorted teas, coffee, packaged plain oatmeal (with chopped walnuts, dried cranberries, cinnamon to taste), yogurt, milk, orange juice.

Super friendly staff, always smiling and seemed happy to be at work. Fresh breakfast items each day but the hot options became a bit repetitive. Get to the breakfast room early (before 7am) otherwise you’re gonna queue. Free tea & coffee 24hrs is handy. I found the hotel adequate for my needs and the room was comfortable enough and functional. 5 min walk to St Catherine Street from where you can access most of the city on foot, via underground/metro. 5 mins to China Town, 20 mins to old town. Tip - get a taxi or bus to Mount Royal, explore the mountain on foot and use the stairs back into town, about 40min walk back to the hotel. I spent a week in the hotel and only used taxis to/from the airport, to the rail station for a day trip to Quebec (must do trip) and to Mount Royal.
