This was my first time visiting the DoubleTree Hotel in Montréal. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking through a third-party service! The stay was very expensive, but the service felt cheap, and the room was just average, nothing special at all. Even the TV channels required an extra payment. For two nights, I spent $870 (NO BREAKFAST), and honestly, for what? On top of that, I had to go out for breakfast at PETINOS, which, to be fair, was an excellent place to eat. Overall, I cannot recommend using a third-party service for this hotel.

The hotel outside was undergoing construction which we did not know till we got there so we had a view of building stuffs on the roof, plus the window was filthy on the outside. The bathroom did not have a lock which I wasn't pleased about, turn out the whole hotel has the same set up so we couldn't switch room. There wasn't any laundry facilities so I couldn't wash my clothes before returning home. The staff however were pleasant enough. Restaurant was closed on Monday which was disappointing. Nice swimming pool however towels are not stocked enough and lifeguards are always on their phone and not observing enough.

Great Central Location. Close to many tourist destinations. Room was clean. My kinds enjoyed the indoor pool. Will look to this hotel if we visit Montreal again.
