Hotel is in a good location but the building and rooms are a little dated. The hallways and rooms creak when someone is walking which adds to the character but can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. The bathrooms are in need of an update. Breakfast is a small selection of breads and a few pastries with some cheese and ham. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I just wish healthier breakfast options were offered. Also, maybe the electric fireplace could be checked because it was not working for our whole stay and we only had a small heater to warm up our room.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and were disappointed to find that it has declined on all fronts: maintenance, service, etc. We still love the homey, old-fashioned charm, but a refresh is needed.

Hardly any heat in the room (18 degrees). Called to get it repaired but all I got from the very polite gentleman was he brought us a portable heater saying the heating was not working properly. The next morning, one face cloth only in the room with no towel. Also, your staircase is extremely dangerous, no handrail available to climb up of down as the one in existence is rendered unavailable due to the flower pots in place. If those pots were more on the other side of the rail, would render access to your hotel much easier et especially much safer.
