Honestly the resort was okay I've been here before I know it to expect... But never in my life have I ever had multiple housekeeping people walk in the room and when I say walk in I mean they were acting like they were living with us... No knocking just walking in the room. I was completely violated at this hotel my wife and I were mortified when a housekeeping employee made their way right into our room when we were completely naked. Worst experience of our lives

Staff was always friendly and wanting to help. Rooms were clean. be careful of your room location if your an early to bed person. we were booked near the all night snack bar and some entertainment went to 11pm an sometimes 1am. so if you're a early sleeper ask for a room a little further from the bar area.

We had roaches in our room. We killed about a dozen or so. We left our luggage outside so we properly make sure we did not bring any home. This was the only negative thing about our visit.

staff was courteous .food was average at best.all amenities not available due to recent hurricane which we were not aware of… came down Christmas and was unable to watch any football ! Riu is one of the few hotels even back open.weather was great and we felt safe.
