The staff never came to our room for two days to clean up the water on the floor after Hurricane Melissa, even though we called multiple times. We were never given clean towels, our toilets were clogged, we had no running water most of the time after the storm, and the AC wasn’t working. No basic services were provided, yet we were charged an additional $715 for two more nights after our flights were cancelled. Two front desk staff members told us we could get a refund upon checkout, but when we tried to do so, they refused. I even emailed them about the service and refund and got no response—yet they had no problem replying quickly before we arrived. Overall, extremely disappointed with the service. I’m not planning to return and will not be recommending this place to anyone.

The hotel was clean and everyone did their utmost to make people feel at home , despite any personal challenges it did not show . There was choice of a la carte restaurants and the buffet was excellent quality . Rooms are clean and pools and beach great . We are so glad we continued with our holiday to Jamaica after the storm. Special mention to Sean at reception, friendly , calm and patient with the check in . Also Sheena at concierge always had a a warm smile for us and lots of chit chat . The warm and friendly people make Jamaica special

- The room was very nice and comfortable. - The staff was okay but not customer-friendly at all. - Upon entering the resort, I was pulled aside and given misleading information. I was offered a gift and told it was not a sales event, just a breakfast with a manager in a nicer section. However, when I showed up the next day, I was taken to the club area for a sales event. When I refused to attend, one of the staff members spoke to me very rudely and essentially asked me to leave. This felt like a sleazy sales tactic, especially since I had clearly stated I was not interested in any sales or marketing event. - The resort is not fully functional, and there were many men doing repairs. This is understandable considering what the island recently went through.

This hotel was amazing, the people was friendly, staff was helpful, food/ drinks was good -BEFORE Hurricane Melissa hit. After it hit the "Hotel Manager " was giving out Hurricane discounts rates of higher price to continue staying there otherwise get out even during the Hurricane Melissa devastation/crisis. No EMPATHY at ALL, just straight PAY or get OUT. She needs to be fired!!! These places need to do better when accommodation USA citizen during Hurricane Season, be more compassion given the situations of people in general! WITHOUT travelers this RESORT will NOT survive/ CANNOT .... continue without TRAVELERS! NOTE THIS OWNERS/ INVESTORS WHO DID NOTHING!

We were there during the hurricane.The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were safe, well fed and entertained as we dealt with this catastrophe. Many of the staff hadn't been home in days. Didn't know if they had a home to go to or even if family members were okay. But they continued to take care of us with a positive attitude always. Even during the hurricane they continued to serve excellent food throughout the day. The Managers all jumped in to help with housekeeping, cooking,serving and cleaning. Special mention for Rhodene who was wonderful. Always resolving issues with a smile. I will definitely return and I highly recommend Iberostar.
