Nice but....

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. BUT wifi totally unreliable. I ended up with dara charges on my phone. Shower water not even close to hot enough. And I booked through hotels.com and when I arrived Ihad to pay more! Services i had no intention of using. Not acceptable!

Beautiful view. Easy access to walk to everything in montauk. People smoking in non smoking facility was only downer (highly allergic). I didnt mind the pets, even though not allowed also. $35/day resort fee is dumb(reason why i stopped going to ocean surf resort). Fee wasnt indicated when booking. Place very clean and all staff friendly.

Great Time at Montauk Blue

My husband and I stayed for one night at Montauk Blue. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, and stunning view of the ocean. Staff was extremely nice. Didn't swim in the pool, but we wanted to look at the pool room. The pool was extremely clean and inviting. Next time, we will try the jacuzzi. The hotel is a 2 block walk to Main Street. Ate dinner at Shagwong. Everything was great. Will be back.

The trip was good. I didn't like that we had to pay a $76 resort charge at check-in. Your site says everything was included in the price. That is misleading.

The ocean view is awesome. Staff was nice (would have been nice if they were up to date on what resteraunts, etc were closed so they didn't recommend closed ones) The hot tub was only open until 6 pm; I would have liked it to be open until 10 pm or so. There were a few maintenance issues, such as the lack of a safety lock on the door, and the screen door was difficult to manage and had a broken hinge.

The view of the ocean was absolutely amazing!!! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was with the Wi-Fi since it was very weak. Also, we used the pull out to sleep on and since I have an issue with my knee, it was extremely low and difficult to get up from so my friend slept on it the entire time. Perhaps, a twin bed or full size bed would be better to have instead of the pull out couch. All in all, it was a great time and a wonderful way to spend my birthday!
