Registered historical tudor landmark built by Carl Fisher in the 1920s. Magnificent lobby with 2 fireplaces, restaurant, cable TV with HBO, DVD, wireless internet. Beach chairs and umbrella, tennis racquets, golf clubs and balls exercise room, tennis. Spa services available. Minutes to fabulous beaches. Visit East Hampton, Bridge Hampton and Amagansett. Horse back riding near by and interesting historical sights. Once there, you are minutes from secluded or lifeguard protected beaches, world-class fishing, surf fishing, golf, horseback riding, hiking, biking, boating, jet-ski and motor scooter rentals, wind surfing, ferry to Block Island, whale watching, surfing. Our stay was excellent however the bed in our room was as firm as bricks, needed to use the mattress from the pull out couch to put on top of the bed, tried to sleep on the pull out first but you can feel the springs.

The Montauk Manor is a beautiful historic building. The property and facilities on site are fabulous.The host was very accommodating. Communicated well. I felt like the room itself could use a bit of an upgrade as far as linens go. It was great to have the kitchen for making coffee, etc. Other than that, the room itself was wonderful.I ended up taking some takeout for dinner from the restaurant at the Property and it was delicious.

The room was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed after spending the day at the beach. The decor was homey and tasteful. The towels were fluffy and sheets and blankets cozy. Close to town but in a beautiful setting. We really loved the heated pool area. Hope when we come back the indoor pool and restaurant are open.
