Our party of 11 fit nicely into this welcoming home. The weather was beautiful (April— cool but warm in the sun) and we totally took advantage of the outdoor deck and backyard (one evening we even lit up the outdoor firepit and made smores!). We didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub— but it was up and running! We loved the fact that the home had plenty of space and bathrooms for all, and the the kitchen area was fully equipped. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is plenty of space for parking our three cars. It was so nice to be able to stay in this large home during our special weekend—first time in Montauk! It’s a great location; a close drive to the main street (lots of restaurants, gift shops, and the great lighthouse and of course the beaches), and also a quick drive to the other super charming towns (Amagansett, Sag Harbor, etc.).
The only thing to refine is the information on how to get rid of the trash… We generated a lot of it, and had to chase the trash truck around Montauk to throw out our bags, because we couldn’t find any trash receptacles around the area.
