"Very nice well appointed accommodations. Food in the pub was done well and the morning hot complimentary breakfast was a good surprise. Staff was very welcoming with tea being served in the lobby early afternoons. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"We spent a few nights in Galena to kick off our spring break and this cabin was the perfect fit for our family. We were so relaxed in the wooded surroundings and hope to return one day when the weather would allow us to enjoy the incredible deck! My teens loved the hot tub and we all played pool together in the evenings. It’s a spacious home that has been carefully tended to by its owners. We had an easy check-in and the owner was very responsive when needed. It’s a short drive to area attractions and it takes a bit to get used to the winding roads of the Galena Territory. All in all it was a wonderful trip and we would highly recommend this property."

"We all enjoyed our stay at the River House the best part is the view and the amount of sunlight you get in the morning - so enjoyable. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable and thank you for allowing dogs."

"3 night stay for event in galena - 1br apt. everything was clean, no chemical odors (cleaners, pets, smoking, etc). plenty of space - accomodations much larger than listing picture. bed was incredibly comfortable. cookies in the lobby; we hung out and enjoyed the fire, colored, watched the projection tv. we used the game room, and workout room on the lower level. there was plenty of parking. very peaceful! absolute quiet at night. the ONLY negative was the peeling paint in the pool area - we didn’t go swimming but you could see the large sheets of paint peeling off the walls. we will definitely stay at this location again. "
