This is a self-guided, nature-based glamping stay in a real RV, blending modern comfort with the hands-on character of camping. Some RV systems work differently from those in a hotel or resort and require more mindful use.

The sauna, optional wood-burning hot-tub boost, and charcoal BBQ are guest-operated, so guests should be comfortable lighting and managing fires. We are always happy to help when needed.

Optional add-ons let guests customize their stay and pay only for the extras they choose. All options and prices are listed below.

📍 PROPERTY LAYOUT & SUPPORT

Idunn Grove and its listed amenities are private to your reservation. Other campsites are located elsewhere on the farm, with a minimum distance of 150 feet between campsites. The wider farm and its trails are shared rather than exclusively reserved for one booking.

Our family lives on the property, so help is nearby when needed. We may occasionally require brief access to the outdoor area for pool, hot-tub, or property maintenance, normally after notifying you.

🛏️ SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT

1–2 guests: Queen bed in the main bedroom
3–4 guests: Lower convertible queen sofa bed in the second bedroom
5–6 guests: Upper queen bunk in the second bedroom
7 guests: Loft single bed above the living room (limited headroom)

Beds are prepared according to the number of guests included in the reservation. For bookings of 1–2 guests, the second bedroom is not included in the sleeping setup and remains inaccessible. For larger bookings, only the beds required for the booked guest count are prepared and made accessible.

This is an RV, so the interior is more compact than a house or hotel room. It can accommodate seven guests, but the shared spaces will feel tighter at full occupancy. Please review the sleeping-setup photos carefully before booking.

🔥 FIREWOOD & CHARCOAL AMENITIES

The sauna, firepit, charcoal BBQ, and optional hot-tub wood boost are hands-on, guest-operated amenities. The sauna is not preheated and requires time to warm up, while the hot tub’s base heating is maintained at approximately 100°F and available 24/7 without using the wood boost.

Firewood, charcoal, and starters are not included unless purchased separately. Add-ons provide supplies only, although we are always happy to assist when needed.

What to Expect:

🦟 Nature is Part of the Experience:
This is a rural campsite in the woods, seasonal insects such as ladybugs and flies, pollen, mud, leaves, wildlife, and changing weather are normal parts of the experience.

We clean carefully, but a nature-based campsite cannot provide the completely controlled environment of a hotel or indoor resort.

🕒 Check-In & Check-Out
The campsite and amenities require significant time to clean and reset. Standard early check-in and late checkout are not available.

👥Registered guests only:
Only guests on the reservation may check in or stay overnight.

🛏️ Additional Bed Setup:
If use of an additional bed is needed, the reservation must be updated to the corresponding guest count. We encourage guests to notify us in advance so the bed can be prepared and ready before arrival.

🐾 Pet Policy
Pets are welcome by pre-approval only. Every pet must be disclosed, approved, and accurately included in the reservation before arrival.

Bringing additional or undisclosed pets violates the pet policy and may result in additional charges, delayed check-in, or declined check-in.

🏊 Outdoor Amenities
The pool and hot tub are cleaned and prepared before check-in. Because they are outdoors, rain, wind, normal use, and the surrounding natural ground may introduce leaves, pollen, insects, sand, or other natural debris during the stay.

For longer stays or after severe weather, we may contact guests to arrange brief maintenance access.
