The rooms were clean and my kids loved the pool area. The jacuzzi was packed with adults and kids so we didn’t get to enjoy that part of our stay. We had a little hiccup when checking into the hotel. The lady told me that I couldn’t use my wife’s CC to book the room even though I booked the room through Hotels.com. She had a lot of attitude about it at first. We got into a small back and forth, she then called the owner (I didn’t know that it was privately owned) and the owner excepted it. Outside of that, we had a good stay. Breakfast was very nice as well. This was my second time at this hotel (I paid for it the exact same way with no issues).

Decent little hotel, that is a little off the beaten path. They have some strange rules with the slide, but when it is up and running its great. We stayed a couple night and maid service never came up to our room which was kind of disappointing.

We came to WBL to visit family and were able to get extra wristbands for the pool upon check-in. That evening, our family brought over some take-out dinner and the 8 of us (only two were guests of the hotel) were able to use the breakfast area to have dinner and visit for a while. Both Kimberly and Claudette at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet at night. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the whole experience was great. We will definitely be back!

Would have been 5 stars except I feel like this Expedia listing is misleading. One of the main reasons I booked here was for the Waterslide in the pool area, but after I booked I got an email saying the Waterslide is only open certain hours on weekends. My kids were disappointed! Other than that, the hotel was updated, clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Our suite was a very nice size and again very clean and welcoming.

The pool is freezing. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. However the bedsheets smelled like cologne so I’m not sure they were changed but I really don’t want to think about that. Breakfast was fine. There was a birthday party in the pool area that had a lot more kids than would have been staying at the hotel so they aren’t very strict about wristbands. They had just dumped chlorine in the pool in the morning right when they opened it. Our nostrils were burning all day from it.

Room was clean and comfortable which is the most important. My lower rating is because of the pool and hot tub. The chlorine smell was so strong I could barely stand it. My grandson with asthma could not quit coughing and our eyes were burning. The hot tub was more like a barely warm tub.

We checked in around 10pm after driving with two kids for over six hours. The room was set at 50 degrees and the heat wasn’t set on. We had to all sleep in our coats to keep warm. We stayed two nights and took the entire stay just for the room to warm up to a solid 65 and still did not feel warm. Other than that the hotel was pretty decent.
