The room was clean and the staff helpful (kept my luggage after check out hours). However, there was a smell in the room, and the bathroom was very narrow, making it a bit hard to move. But the most inconvenient part of the stay, was the fact that in the morning of the check out (28/10), a while after 8:00 o clock there was a crane doing maintenance work at the balcony exactly next to mine. The result was that it woke me up and to make matters worse, there were constant loud thuds for the whole 3 hours left till the check-out. I was trying to work, which was very troublesome in terms of focus and couldn’t even take a bath before leaving, as the work that was being done (I assume with some kind of hammer) made the wall “tremble”. I can understand the fact that works need to be done, but considering this is a “hotel” building, it would have been thoughtful for the customers to try to have any such work done at least closer to the check out time. This both woke me up and made my working from the room very difficult.
