I stayed at Idea Hotel Milano Malpensa Airport and had a really good experience. The hotel is comfortable, the bar is great, and the people working there are genuinely amazing — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Just keep in mind that if you’re not using the shuttle, the walk to and from the terminal is longer than Google Maps suggests, since you can’t cut across certain areas. Still, for service and atmosphere, this hotel delivers.

The room and the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. However, the gentleman running the bar seemed like he didn’t wanna be there or help anybody. The staff had to ring him multiple times before he would show up to help a customer. Breakfast is ok if you like cakes and pastries and sweet items. The savory options were pretty awful.

We stayed here 1 night prior to our flight at MXP. To get to the hotel, we took the free airport parking shuttle 2 stops and walked about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. The path is not pedestrian friendly, but is passable. Once we arrived we were greeted and given our key. The room was fine. Clean, cool, comfortable and it seemed it was recently updated. The shower was very high and somewhat slippery, but we made it work. The bar and restaurant were excellent as there were not many options around. The food was good and the staff were friendly. The hotel provides a 5 euro pp shuttle, which was comfortable and on time.
