There were no accessible outlets in our room. The TV went in and out. There was a used washcloth in the shower. The curtains were falling down. And the posted time for breakfast - 6:30am - was not, in fact true, so we had to miss it.
The pool was disgusting, the water was murky and smelled. At 6 am they were out of coffee and breakfast was cold. The noise was unbelievable- the room doors slam shut so each time someone closed their door you heard it throughout the floor...all night! DO NOT STAY HERE
We stay one night during the weekend of Lollapalooza, June 2018. The cost for one night, through cheap tickets was $135.00. You are better off sleeping in your car then to pay to stay here. 1. The hotel claims to be “smoke-free” but upon checking-in, this room reeked of cigeratte smoke. As if the room had not been vented or cleared from the previous guest. 2. Bed linen didn’t appear to be clean. Specifically the blanket had stand on them as if it was not switched out from the previous guest. Upon turning over the pillow a bug was on it. 3. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small making it impossible, for even the smallest person, to maneuver. Mold and painting was seriously chipped throughout the bathroom. Overall, the room was NOT worth the value attached to it. This room should have NEVER been $135 for a single night. I’m fact, this room is better priced at $30/night, if that much. Will NEVER stay in such a hotel, no matter what the situation is. Save your time and money and sleep in your vehicle.
My mom and I had a great experience!!! I mentioned to Paul, the owner greeter, that my mother is Gluten Free and he said no problem, And , the breakfasts were amazingly delicious and healthy. The rooms in the house are clean and comfortable, and the service was very warm and professional. We stayed there for two nights as we were driving to South Bend for a Notre Dame football game. The price and distance were perfect for us!!! I hope to stay there again someday.
