Room kinda had a funky chlorine/ozone smell and was pretty small for four people. The front desk staff were great and very friendly. It’s too bad the hotel has to put up with the obnoxious restaurant that is adjacent as they play loud, booming techno music until midnight every night and our room was on that side of the hotel. No great for light sleepers.

Not a 8.6 rating hotel. All the staff were helpful and nice! Be mindful that there's no elevator to the first floor that has 6 steps to get into. Shower wall and curtain has mold and doesn't have a strong central fan to get the steam out. Some of the rooms have the exterior wall view of the adjacent buildings and was not mentioned in the expedia website. The AC is a wall unit and makes noise when turn on while on Auto/Eco mode. Rooms are small however the bedding was clean and comfortable. The area is really fun with lots of dinning options and very close to the beach.

Staff is excellent. Friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Beach is a couple of blocks away, about 5 to 10 minutes away. Restaurant that is attached to the Kent is very good. Lot's of other restaurants around. Safe location. Smaller rooms as this is an older hotel, but it has been totally renovated. My family and I would stay here again.

Location location location…this hotel is right in the heart of South Beach. You have the boardwalk, beach, art deco hotels, and tons of restaurants all around. We were only supposed to stay one night for a layover, but due to illness with one family member, we ended up staying four nights during Christmas. Magnus, Anthony, Josh, Christopher at the front desk were amazing and so friendly and accommodating to our ever evolving needs. The room was very clean and I would return without hesitation.

Josh was so willing to help and super friendly. This hotel has the cleanest and best towels and sheets. Beds were comfy. Rooms are small but the tv is large, so that makes it a wash I’d say! Music is pretty loud from next door. But hey, this is South Beach after all!

There was no heat. Sheets had stains on them. Shower floor was crusty. Rooms smelled like weed because the workers would go out back to smoke and they were right by the window. Also it’s very loud in that particular room. If you’re assigned room 107 ask to move immediately!
