The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. It appeared dusty, and the floors did not seem to have been properly cleaned. We ended up cleaning and sanitizing the space ourselves before feeling comfortable. The room was very small, but that was expected. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the surrounding area felt safe—even when walking to a nearby restaurant later in the evening. Prior to our stay, I inquired about transportation to the dock, but was advised to use an Uber instead, which was disappointing. The room was prepaid, and there was also a noticeable odor throughout the space that seemed to be masked by hotel scent devices. Unfortunately, due to the subpar cleanliness standards, I would be unlikely to stay at an Aloft property again.
