Disliked: Cleanliness
The space is visually beautiful, but that’s unfortunately where the positives end.It felt like a business-run rental focused on doing the bare minimum rather than creating a comfortable guest experience. The unit was sparsely furnished and minimally decorated. Basic dinner utensils were available, but no coffee was provided, which was disappointing.The biggest issue was the lack of A/C, which is not clearly emphasized in the listing. We had to open every window just to make it tolerable for sleeping. What also isn’t made clear is that the property is on an extremely busy and very loud street. There were cars honking, trucks engine braking, and traffic noise throughout the night. The host provided only one set of earplugs per bed, not even enough for the number of guests the unit sleeps.Cleanliness and maintenance were also concerns. The floor fans were dirty and very loud. The faucet in the second bathroom was loose and felt like it was about to come off. The floors were not clean, and the white rugs were stained brown/grey.We requested a late checkout and expected to pay something reasonable, but were quoted more than the cost of an additional night for just four extra hours. When questioned, we were told it was “peak season,” despite wide availability on the calendar.We would not stay here again or recommend it.
