Wonderful Hotel

An amazing hotel. Perfectly located in the Condessa neighborhood across the street from a beautiful park. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive until the moment you depart. Rooms are a great size stocked with fresh water. Rodona is perfectly located near incredible restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to come back to CDMX to stay here again.

Chic, Affordable Boutique Hotel

Highly recommend this chic, small, well-designed boutique hotel with great service. Stayed here because price was right and enjoyed it more than others double the cost. Took suggestion to upgrade as basic rooms are quite tiny. Excellent locale across from gorgeous park, cafes and all Condesa has to offer. Hotel restaurant just opened and the food was fantastic. Ian the concierge was charming and lovely. Stayed here rather than Roma Norte and so glad.

Wonderful Location with Excellent Service

My wife and I had an excellent couple vacation without the kids for 4 days and this was a great find. Love the location next to the park and the room was comfortable and well designed. The place has a vintage art deco vibe. Excellent value as well.

Such a cute little hotel in a great location. Staff was so welcoming and kind. They had 24 hour security, and we felt safe the entire time. Our room was very small. I’d recommend upgrading to a larger room. It was almost comically small.

Our overall stay at Rodona was great! Rooms were clean and staff is nice and helpful. The rooftop is still in the process if being finished, there were chairs but the inside portion was still in progress and the kitchen is still under construction which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, would definitely stay again!

Great stay and would definitely return.

The entire staff at Rodona was friendly and very accommodating. Communication via WhatsApp with the hotel made everything easy and smooth. Pros: great location, modern and clean room, easy communication, safe and comfortable. Cons: the hotel entryway flooded during a night of heavy rain, rooms are on the smaller side. Overall, great stay and would definitely return.

Terrific Hotel in a Great Part of Mexico City

We had a wonderful stay at the Rodona Hotel. The location in Condesa is across the street from a large and beautiful park with many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and the interior is modern. We can't wait to return!

Had some issues unfortunately

While the service was great here, I have to say there were major issues with cleanliness which I won't detail here--I'll simply say that my friend and I had to relocate hotels because of it. The manager was very nice and refunded our stay completely, given the situation, but this particular situation required us to spend additional money on the other end of our trip. It was very frustrating, and though no one's fault in particular, I would have wished for a warning as a guest myself, so I am offering it to others.

Nice hotel. Staff were amazing, super helpful. The rooms are nice albeit small and ours lacked much natural light. They also failed to clean our room one day but they apologised profusely and our room was slick and span the next day.

Hize la reserva a traves de expedia y escogí una tarifa en la cual se pagaba en el hotel al llegar. El hotel decidió hacerme el cobro sin la autorización de expedia varios días antes de mi llegada al hotel. Cuando llegué al hotel les reclamé por haber hecho el cargo total de mi estadía con anticipacion pues los terminos y condiciones de mi reserva decían que esta no requería ningun pago de antemano. el gerente del hotel me respondio que lo siente por expedia pero que ellos siempre hacen eso a pesar de lo contratado con expedia. Llame a expedia a quejarme y expedia a su vez llamo al hotel a reclamarles que me habian hecho el cobro anticipado a lo que Gabriel el gerente les minitio y les dijo que “perdon que habia sido un error” cuando a mi me dijo que ellos siempre lo hacen y lo seguiran haciendo asi. Por favor si se quedan en este hotel tengan mucho cuidado porque ellos van a cobrarles el total de la estadia no matter what sin autorizacion alguuna y sin importar el tipo de tarifa que escogan aunque no sea una reserva prepaid. Son tramposos y mentirosos. Y tienen una politica muy anti clientes y no les importa nada: Pedí acortar mi reserva con 72 horas de antelacion lo que me parece prudente y razonable prro me negaron devolverme un solo dolar ni peso de las noches que iba a dejar de usar. Creo que el hotel esta necesitado de dinero y estan diapuestos a quedar mal con cualquier cliente con tal de quedarse con el dinero de los huespedes.
