Hotel Puerta Reforma has a lot of potential, but sadly, it's clear the property has been neglected by its owner or management. There is no lobby, and the only person on-site is Victor, a kind and hardworking maintenance worker who was doing everything he could—but with no support from above. The decor was modern and tasteful, and the apartment had everything we needed. For a family of five, having 2.5 bathrooms was a huge plus. Unfortunately, those positives were overshadowed by major issues. Our bedroom ceiling began to leak from two corners, and no one from management could be reached. I spent nearly three hours on virtual chat with Expedia, and finally got a live agent, but by then we were exhausted and frustrated. Eventually, Victor was able to reach the manager, who offered to move us into another unit that also had a leak—but claimed it was "not as bad." They couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to stay in a second flooded apartment. We were finally able to be relocated to another hotel. The communication from property management was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I would not recommend staying here even on my worst enemy.

El concepto es muy bueno, y el edificio y los departamentos muy bonitos y de muy buen tamaño, y la ubicación es excelente. Desafortunadamente hubo un par de detalles por las cuales no puedo calificar mejor, y que pienso son cosas muy fáciles de resolver. La ropa de cama y las toallas estaban excesivamente maltratadas, la sobrecama rasgada en varias secciones, al igual que las sábanas. Las almohadas estaban extremadamente usadas o viejas, ya casi sin relleno. Las toallas estaban muy manchadas, y dos incluso rotas. Solamente porque se notaba que estaban muy limpias fue que no pedimos cambio y decidimos usar todo tal cual como estaba. El tapete del baño daba muy mala impresión, ya que estaba manchado por cloro. En uno de los cuartos había una gotera que se veía que ya tenía tiempo, ya que caía el agua sobre un buró que estaba visiblemente maltratado por el agua, y en esa esquina, la pared tenía un cultivo de moho impresionante por la humedad de esa gotera. Ese mismo cuarto tiene un baño muy pequeño, y la pared tenía mucho moho también, se entiende por lo pequeño y encerrado, pero creo que ese moho en la pared se puede lavar y cubrir con una mano de pintura. El segundo día había varias goteras por la lluvia y de inmediato respondieron y arreglaron el problema al siguiente día. Mi sugerencia para esta propiedad es que inviertan en ropa de cama y baño, y en dar mantenimiento continuo a lo que pueda dañar la humedad.

Location was excellent.However there are other issues that need to be addressed. The light in the master bedroom is flickering. We had water interruptions on the last night and did nit have water until the Saturday morning . We went to the airport without being able to shower or do routine care. It was disgusting as the toilet cannot be flushed. We called the number listed but it goes to voicemail. Honestly, we felt that the last night should be credited back to us.

This was a great place for 2 adult children and me. The staff is remote and were fine. The onsite person was nice and took care of us. Two learnings: 1) the on-demand hot water took some finagling to make it work to enable hot showers. 2) Check-out is way too early ...10:00. This was not good for our afternoon flight as we have to deal with luggage, laptops, etc. Nobody is consistently around the hotel to be able to "stash" our luggage safely so we could enjoy the morning in the neighborhood (which is fantastic). Extending the room for 2 hours started at 50 USD/hour which was a lot more than our nightly rate.

The communication with the host was slow. I paid way too much money for cleaning fees when nobody showed up no even once during our stay.. we didn't got cleaning towels every day no even upon request. How can hotel operate without this basic services. I love the location.. cute hotel .. but if you are charging extra for cleaning ( which i found it ridiculous) i would expect the basic hotel cleaning services. More so when the guest where my parents with parkinson disability.. and my siniors mother n aunt. With also mention that the bedrooms where leaking over the bed and after they called for assistance nobody showed up to fixe it. How is this possible???!! I need not just my cleaning fee back but also a real compensation.. i have pictures and WhatsApp text communications. As evidence .

En la página de hoteles.com dice que el hotel cuenta con estacionamiento en propiedad, previa solicitud. Escogí el hotel por este motivo. Cuando hablé para reservar, me dijeron que no tenían estacionamiento. Entonces ya no viajé en coche. Cuando llegamos, resultó que si había algún cajón disponible. El "hotel" funciona como AirB&B. No es propiamente un hotel. No tiene servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones. Nos asignaron el "Departamento G". Nefasto. La habitación más incómoda y ruidosa en la que he estado en toda mi vida. Desde las 5.30 am empieza el ruido de gente, motos, coches en el estacionamiento de la BMV (enfrente) y la ventana de la habitación da directamente a la calle. Llamé al contacto y pedí cambio. Me respondió que no tenían disponibilidad. Después llegó Eduardo y me acerqué con él, pensando que era con quien yo había hablado. No era así, pero él sí me ofreció el cambio de habitación previo pago extra.

El lugar está súper bien ubicado, sien embargo es mucha la claridad que entra en la suite que rentamos y el ruido es molesto, sin embargo nos atendieron muy bien y el anfitrión nos solucionó el tema del ruido y la claridad para que nuestra estancia fuera la mejor, siempre. Muchas gracias Gabriel!

Muchos mosquitos (zancudos) ventilador muy frágil que debías poner la maleta iniciaba a avanzar me aloje con 1 niño de 12 años y la segunda cama está en alto colgada de alambres de acero sin embargo peligroso para el u otra persona éramos 2 mujeres 1 niño y bueno siempre el alojarte fuera de tu casa es desoroentarte tantito a tu esoacio
