Clean and spacious room, very well kept property, quiet, good restaurant, very attentive, helpful and professional staff. I didn't get the breakfast-included booking, but even so it was very reasonably priced. It's in the Centro Historico, so not beautiful like the Condesa area, but still safe to walk about even after dark. The hotel is right near the Metro Cathedral (hence the name) so you might hear some protesting and a street musician or 2, but it all dies down not long after dark. The hotel is also a block away from some interesting ruins, and only a 12-minute walk to the Palais Belles Artes. It's also a short walk to a couple of good restaurants and a couple of other museums.

The service was great and the location very central to all i needed to see and experience in Mexico City. The room was fabulous and the room i got had a beautiful view of the city which was so beautiful to look at. The staff were courteous and helpful seeing i did not speak Spanish. The staff could speak both Spanish and English which was very commendable. Overall, very excellent service and experience. I look forward to visiting again
