Gorgeous art deco hotel in the center of the Historic Center of CDMX. This is my third time staying here, and it is a beautiful, perfectly manicured and kept property with very attentive staff. Although we did not receive any VIP perks as we usually do, my only complaints are the restaurant is extravagantly priced for very mediocre food (although the view is stunning) and due to pedestrian restrictions cabs/Ubers cannot drive up to the front of the hotel anymore, meaning you have to drag your bags a block or so to the hotel entrance. However, all In all, these are minor inconveniences and the hotel iswell worth a stay in.

The hotel is an iconic gem in the heart of Mexico City at the Zocalo. It was a treat to be able to enjoy the beauty of this hotel in the heart of the city. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel's age and the location come with some downsides - the main entrance of the hotel is within a pedestrian zone making access for cars and taxis confusing. The hallway outside our room had a distinctive odor of mold despite being very clean - the room and bathroom were immaculate. The rate reflected a fair balance of the hotel's breathtaking beauty and luxury and the noted challenges. Special thanks to the porter Emanuel Guerrera

The hotel was Exceptional, it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The location was amazing, right in the center of everything, The suite we had on the forth floor was amazing, it was quiet, it was big and loved the nice welcoming desert and small bottle of wine they for us to welcome us on our first night, nice touch! The staff were amazing, the service was amazing, our room was cleaned every day, they provided everything we needed. The staff at the reception were amazing and they facilitate a tour for us to see Teotihuacán, please book the tour with them and ask for Susie Perez, she was our tour god and she was amazing beyond words, the best tour guide we have ever had, god bless her, she went out of her way to help us and give us the best day possible. Overall the whole experience with this hotel was First Class and I think this will be my only hotel that I will book with every time we come back to Mexico City. Thank you to all of the wonder staff for thier amazing work!!!!

The power was off in that part of the city when I arrived but was soon restored. For that reason i was limited as to what i could order at the Terraza Restaurant. I ordered guacamole and asked for no cilantro. The waiter said it was pre-made with cilantro. I asked him to ask the chef. I was able to circumvent the waiter and get my guacamole but the totopos were unbelievably salty. Again, I was told they come that way and nothing could be done. I was hoping for a better welcome for this hungry and weary traveler.

A must in the historic District

Step back in time at this beautiful hotel with its elegant French-inspired interior. The stained glass alone is a marvel, and enjoying a meal or drink on the balcony while overlooking the Zócalo is truly breathtaking. An absolute must when staying in the historic district.
