Smoky Mountain Retreat Cabin is a peaceful rural escape tucked away in the quiet corners of Metchosin. This cozy retreat strikes the perfect balance between comfort and connection to nature. Soak in the hydrotherapeutic hot tub with views of the Pacific Ocean and Olympic Mountains, gather around the outdoor fire with your cup of tea, or book a private sauna & cold plunge in our 'Forest Wellness' space. Pet-friendly and inviting, the cabin is ideal for solo travelers, couples, and small families.

This quaint cabin was thoughtfully built by the owner with an environmentally conscious mindset, designed to complement the surrounding natural landscape. With countless ways to enjoy the local outdoors, spend your days hiking, biking, swimming, or exploring, then return to the comforts of home—featuring a cozy bed, a wood-burning fireplace, and an outdoor hydrotherapeutic hot tub.

Our rural retreat is shared with nature and local wildlife. Deer families are often seen wandering the property, along with a variety of bird species and native West Coast plants to enjoy throughout the seasons. We also have two friendly family dogs who happily welcome pats and treats from guests. In addition, we run a small bee farm, Smoky Mountain Apiary, allowing guests to enjoy fresh local honey upon arrival—a sweet taste of the area’s natural harvest. (Bees currently off property foraging at local farms at this time).

We’ve recently introduced our Forest Wellness space to further enhance your stay. This private outdoor sanctuary features a sauna, cold plunge, and a large fire bowl with comfortable seating, where guests can relax and enjoy complimentary tea. The space also includes a Wellness & Workshop Dome, ideal for meditation and self-guided practices. Throughout the year, we host unique workshops and wellness offerings designed to restore, inspire, and reconnect you with both creativity and nature.
