We had a great stay. One of the best value hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Yes it could do with some TLC but for the price we paid, more than happy. Great breakfast and the spa was super.

The room was very clean, no bugs, a few cobwebs, but we were extremely happy with the room. The staff are always lovely at The Hotel, helpful and friendly. Breakfast seems better and it was very good before. The pool, jacuzzi etc is the icing on the cake and our room was very close to the Spa.

Very dated hotel, although generally clean the floors in the room and toilet were filthy. All the furniture is really dated and worn, beds creak, cabinets have loose fittings and worn surfaces. Restaurant is dated and tables dirty. Food was ok but extremely overpriced.

This was a short break for us, just two days. Food was really good with portions rather too large for us pensioners. Great choice at breakfast. Lunch menu wide ranging: we had home made fish finger sandwich with chips, only £10. Puts Warners to shame. Will go again. very convenient for trips out, eg Steam railway and Brecon canal trips.

Such a fantastic location for accessing the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We had a three night stay in an “Executive Suite”. This has plenty of room, a stand-alone shower (though no bath in our particular room) and we didn’t notice any insects. Everything worked (well except the 2nd TV in the living area but we didn’t mind so didn’t report it) even sauna and steam room at the weekend which at other hotels has been an issue. Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Yes, a little TLC needed for things like missing tiles in steam room but for the price we paid we were very satisfied. Will return.

Staff very friendly, Sunday lunch & breakfast very good although tables in restaurant not cleaned after customers, our drinks from Sunday lunch were still on the table when we returned 3 hours later! Was nice to have the use of pool & spa, my friend had a treatment which she was good & great value. Overall nice place but needs a little tlc
