Great place to stay in Merida!

What a wonderful boutique hotel in Merida! Walking distance to most places and very friendly staff. AC works great & it was very clean. We would for sure stay at this hotel again!

What a surprise! FIVE STARS— Very cute hotel near the heart of Centro. Very walkable to nearby restaurants and secure parking across the street. Meticulously updated rooms with a lot of charm and character. Staff was friendly and bi lingual (Spanish/English) which is helpful if you don’t speak Spanish.

It was an amazing stay. The room was perfect right by the pool. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved Ari and Abby and Oscar! The staff from Las Palomas where we had our breakfast was SUPEF, 5 stars all the way!!! We loved Ivana. You can U er everywhere, low cost $2-$3 US dollars. The gastronomic way where all the nice restaurants are is about a 10-15 minute walk. Thank you! We will be back!!! One coment- I would not use the car service that is recommended by the hotel! Did not have a pleasant experience….left my sunglasses case in their car, they communicated with the hotel that they founded, only to change the story 2 days later when I called them they said they acudid not find them…you can exit the airport and just Uber…

Excellent locations, extremely hands on staff and quiet. Absolutely loved our stay here. Well thought out hotel. Only request as a girl, is to install handheld showers as we don't always want to wash our hair or get our eyelash extensions wet. Also - please consider installing full length mirrors in the rooms as I struggled without.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mas Palomas. I just loved all the design features- especially in the bedroom. It felt very luxurious and calm. The bed is very comfortable! I loved sitting by the beautiful pool in the afternoons. I also found the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to all the restaurants in centro. Will stay here again!

Wow! I was totally thrilled with this hotel. It is only three years old. It is gorgeously designed and feels like a luxurious house. With just five rooms, the hotel is quiet and intimate. In room 2, we had the refreshing lap pool right outside our door and entirely to ourselves. it. All the decor and artwork make it feel like a glamorous home out of Architectural Digest. Indeed, the two Paloma hotels are owned by a successful designer. All the staff were attentive and warm from the moment I placed my reservation. They helped with tour reservations, restaurant recommendations, and museum tips. Special thanks to Sofia, Oscar, and Ari. Breakfast was served in the main hotel restaurant around the corner: Izel. These were some of the best meals we had in Mérida, thanks to innovative chef, Pablo Luque. Our friendly waitress, Ivana, was eager to explain the intricate details of the chef’s molecular cuisine and innovative, fermented concoctions. I look forward to returning!

This hotel is an absolute gem!! We had to rebook the night we reached Merida because of a horrible experience at another hotel and Mas Palomas was the best choice. Oscar at the front desk was especially helpful!

This boutique hotel is just STUNNING…like right out of the pages of a Decorator magazine! In fact, I believe the owner is an interior decorator or possibly an architect. There are only five rooms in this cute hotel, and the decor is nothing short of gorgeous.!!! the staff was very helpful and spoke excellent English. From reading the description and the reviews I thought we would be closer to a Central Street that had lots of restaurants on it, but I think this hotel is still a little bit further out from being that scene. The walk to the main church and the Central Square was probably only 15 minutes away, so really wasn’t that bad. Their sister Hotel was where the breakfast was in the morning and it was a 5 Star dining experience all the way… Probably the best omelette I’ve ever had! The pool is a beautiful thing to look at, but kind of on the cold side so I didn’t get in. If I return to Merida, I would definitely stay here again.

We didn't realize this was a small boutique hotel, only 5 rooms, but it was an EXCELLENT stay. The staff was super helpful and attentive. The room was quite, clean and very comfortable, although the dipping pool was small it was always clean and a welcomed releif from the heat of Merida, i used it in the morning and in the afternoon and the staff always brought me a towel. Next time i visit Merida i will stay either here or the sister hotel just 2 blocks away
