Mansion Merida is a real gem. The converted mansion is so lovely, they serve a great breakfast in the central courtyard and our room was very comfortable. The staff is the perfect mix of professional, attentive and friendly - they scheduled tours and made us feel right at home. The owner, Raul, is very hands on and greeted guests every day. The location on a cute square just a block from the cathedral square and two from the Park Santa Lucia is central to the city sites. We lived Mansion Merida and hope to visit again.

Hotel is charming and lovely. The staff, including the owner, could not have been any more helpful or considerate. A real pleasure. The only caveat is some noise at night in the front of the hotel that could be disturbing if you're a light sleeper. Despite that, the hotel is great in every respect.

Staying at the Mansion Merida was wonderful in all respects. It was like staying in a warm cocoon in Merida. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Everyone knew our name on day one and treated us like family, not merely guests. Our room was also very lovely.

As my former profession in the hospitality industry I am mindful of the challenges in providing a service that exceeds customer expectations. In our 4 day stay at the property the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. From the greeting received on arrival by “Hector” to the fabulous services provided by Alberto, Juan, Cindy (food and beverage) & all other staff interactions with Ivan , Enrique and many more the professionalism and attention to detail was very much appreciated. The food and beverages were first class and kudos to the chef & kitchen staff 👏. Your food preparation and presentation were excellent. It was a pleasure to meet the boutique hotel owner Raul Caseras who checked with us daily to ensure our stay was of an excellent standard. After having travelled extensively in North America and Europe it was a true pleasure to experience the 1st class service that we received. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and encourage visitors to truly enjoy a 1st class property with 1st class service.

This property is unique. If you are looking for a cookie cutter experience, look elsewhere. It is impossible to describe -- you feel like you are living in someone's home. The owner greets you at breakfast, the staff bends over backwards to take care of you. It is a very gracious, charming experience and the property is beautiful. At every corner is another piece of artwork. It is old world and classic and just a little quirky. Fantastic! Also, it is right in the center of the historic downtown.

The hotel was beautiful and the service the best I’ve ever had . The owner made sure we were taken care. Breakfast was included and it was delicious . Even on our tour day and airport day they packed us a lunch box because kitchen opens at 8’am .

This has to be one the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in, and I travel all over the world! The room was so large and beautiful with a large restroom and a big rain shower and all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices! And the service impeccable!!! I'd stay here over and over again! If you are ever in Mérida stay at the Mansion Mérida! You too will be writing a great review! So grateful to all the staff for their excellent service! They even surprised with a picture of us in the hotel with a gracious hand written note!
