The pool is for your guest only! The Santiago Barrio is often compared to Havana Cuba, with all the large old family colonial homes. The Santiago Mercado, 4 block walk away has wonderful food options and is a favorite for locals. The fresh fruit/veggies and flowers are an important part of Mayan diet and lifestyle! You can even find local ice cream in the Mercado. Just across the street is a small AKI grocery store. The zoo is a short walk from the house and perfect for children with a small train. The three main Barios are, St Ann, St Lucia, and Santiago, all are walking distance from the house.with many cafes, restaurants, bistros , bakeries, bars, cantinas, and live music. Also, Merida has a new gourmet food corredor on Calle 47 featuring both old and new menus. Just a short Uber ride away, so enjoy your cold beverages and dance with the locals through the night! . The house is close to all but out of the club chaos/noise in Centro.
