The Casa de los Gatos is a great invitation to discover Merida and Yucatan.
The stylish colonial house with high ceilings is located downtown, 13 minutes away from the famous Plaza Grande (8 blocks).
You can enjoy three nice bedrooms and a great pool.
All three bedrooms have air conditionning.
All furnitures were hand-made by local craftsmen, including very nice beds, just as the "pasta" on the floor.
The very stable and fast WIFI is 150 MB.
The house has been fully remodeled in 2021.

Merida a city of many colors

A beautiful house, with comfortable bedrooms. Great pool area (we were blessed that the owner brought some extra patio chairs/table mid stay). A kitchen that has the essential for basic cooking. Some noise from the street and from nearby workshop. We walked everywhere and took taxis for reasonable prices. The casita in the back was wonderful. The property manager was very helpful, brought us bottles of water, ensured we had pool cleaning during the 33 day stay. One suggestion would be that a contact be offered for water delivery. Gracias!

great layout

rooms in the front, pool in the middle, master in the back. Great to seperate the family for some peace and quiet. Very nice property!

Beautiful spacious house as shown in photos

The pool is even bigger than it appears in the photos. The noise level outside did not bother us at all, a factor we were concerned about before arriving. Agassi, the local host, was friendly, helpful, & responsive to texts. Olivier, the owner who lives in France, responds to questions and provided a helpful guest information booklet in English. Eric is reliable, flexible, friendly driver. Wifi and Netflix are excellent. No news channels. Pool area landscaping could be improved(eg weeds , broken chair); house is minimally furnished and would benefit from more comfortable furniture and additional amenities (eg placemats, wine glasses, tourist information in English,etc); kitchen sink needs increased drainage. Overall, a very good place to stay!

Merida Centro house

We enjoyed our stay here. Agassi, the property manager, was extremely helpful and accommodating. The pool area was very nice. The pictures do not do justice to the very large rooms. I’d stay here again!
