"The Glass House Retreat was a perfect place to spend our full solar eclipse trip. While many hosts of rentals canceled and forced a rebook at higher rates during this event, this couple held true to their word and we never had that problem. Roland and Becky have paid attention to every detail. We were greeted with fresh homemade cookies and they came over to introduce themselves when we arrived. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and you can see the hard work they have put into the place. Bring your fishing pole, there are fish in the creek next to the house and yes, I caught some perch from the deck! We appreciated how well stocked everything was. If you forget something, they are bound to have it already there. We also loved the visits from their sweet dogs. We would definitely recommend this place and plan to be back!"

"We had an amazing time riding the trails with our friends!! The cabin was clean, quiet and cozy!! The bed was so comfortable and linens so soft! We had everything we needed!! The communication with the host was great!! I was so sad we had to leave!! We will definitely be back!! Already planning the next trip!!!"

"The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. The property was clean and furniture was very comfortable, the enclosed patio furniture was covered in Pollen but that is to be expected and it was easy to clean off. The grill on the back deck was broken. The igniter was ripped out and while we could open the propane valve and smell the propane we could not light the grill with matches or a lighter gun and opted to just cook our steaks on a cast iron pan. There is no wifi so it was a good chance to unplug and relax away from the city. At night you can see the stars and constellations. We came to the cabin to see the solar eclipse and it was amazing. Aside from the issue with the grill we had a great time taking walks around the property, letting our corgis run around, played a bunch of board games, and just enjoyed the quiet. If you're looking for a nice quiet getaway, this place is good for it."

"Everything was wonderful from the moment we stepped in the front door. I have never seen such a well equipped and orderly home. They thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Being on a farm and watching the animals was a treat. We loved fishing in the pond, having a fire in the pit at night and star gazing. I highly recommend this home for your stay!!"
