Room was just ok.. The young lady at front desk was very nice. TV remote had tape keeping the batteries in the remote. TV volume would be be so low and the next minute, it was so loud. Cold air kept coming out of the radiator. Had to turn up the thermostat on the wall. No water pressure in shower.

The property itself was pretty good. The check in was pretty slow. There were 2 working the front desk one checking in the line and the other one was making phone calls at 6pm to see who was still coming. She should have helped check in the guests then resume the calls. Wait time was about 30 minutes with 4 guests. Rooms were good. A little out dated but clean and nice. We stayed New Years Eve to New Year’s Day. I felt like the could have left breakfast open 1 hour later to accommodate a few more guests. We got down at 8:30 am and they had already stopped replenishing. So when we got down it was already gone. If your hours are 6-9, you should serve through 9am not stop at 8:30 or 8:45. Traveling over NYDay is already difficult with things being open. I think this just shows how unaccomodating they are. Just like the check in was slow. I also checked out and asked for a receipt. He said I could get that from Expedia. Really, you can’t print me a receipt. Again, just not a strong customer focus.

The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The tv in our room didn’t work but when we went to the front desk, she told us she didn’t have anyone else there to help and gave us a suggestion that took care of the problem. Our biggest complaint/concern was when we pulled down the comforter, there was blood on the sheet in a very obvious spot! We didn’t feel it would be of any use to go to the front desk as she had already told us she was alone. We put a towel over the blood and slept there anyway. I was disappointed that this was not seen and taken care of when the linen was changed. We informed the front desk of the problem in the morning.

The rooms were very spacious for the price point, and the rooms were clean. The property felt safe and secure. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We only stayed briefly, arriving late in the evening and checking out early to travel to our destination. It was a perfect place off the highway to rest, but this wouldn’t be where I’d want to stay for more than a quick rest. Here are the drawbacks: - the hot water was luke warm at best - water pressure was low - carpets were stained (the dark color of the carpet hides it well - not all outlets work, which we didn’t discover until the next morning when some of our devices weren’t charged.

There was an issue with not receiving hot water in the shower. After notifying the front desk, we were told that someone would be right up to check on it; however, no one ever came. On my way out, I stopped by the front desk, and the person there apologized, stating that he had forgotten because he got busy. The water issue was never resolved. The last thing you want to experience is lukewarm water in the winter.
