This spacious three-level townhouse is perfectly located on a quiet street between the hustle and bustle of Sydney Road and Lygon Street. The #19 tram, trams #1 & #6, and Upfield line trains are all close by, taking you into the CBD, the hospital and university precinct, Queen Victoria Market or Melbourne Zoo in around 15 minutes.
It`s your first trip to Melbourne and you`re meeting friends for live music at the Retreat Hotel, just 370m away. First, though, you`ve got the day to explore Brunswick. Start with a coffee at Albert Street Cafe, a cosy heritage cafe just 570m from the door - then wander the vintage clothing and jewellery shops along Sydney Road before a stroll through Princes Park or lunch at Temple Brewing Co or Thunder Road Brewing Company. Getting around: it`s an easy walk to Sydney Road (340m) for the #19 tram, or to Lygon Street (590m) for trams #1 and #6 - both will take you into the CBD and beyond, or down to St Kilda. The #19 on Sydney Road also stops near the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women`s Hospital, Melbourne Private, Royal Children`s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Princes Park, the University of Melbourne and Queen Victoria Market. From Lygon Street, trams #1 and #6 also pass Carlton`s Lygon Street restaurant strip - jump off at Elgin Street to explore. Brunswick Station on the Upfield line is a 550m, 7-minute walk, and it`s 7 stops (about 15 minutes) to Flinders Street Station in the CBD. From there, it`s an easy tram or train ride into the Arts Precinct to catch the latest exhibition at the NGV, a concert at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, or a production at the Arts Centre, Southbank Theatre or Melbourne Recital Centre.
On foot, Randazzo Park is a 1-minute walk with a large timber boardwalk and picnic tables - great for younger kids. Methven Park is a little further at 9 minutes, with more play equipment and mature trees, and it`s close to Wild Life Bakery, well known for its artisan sourdough. Keen walkers or runners will enjoy the ~6km loop around beautiful Princes Park, about a 20-minute walk or 4-minute drive away.
Brunswick is close to the University of Melbourne, Princes Park, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne Private Hospital and Royal Women`s Hospital - all within about a 10-minute drive - as well as Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Zoo.

SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable security deposit of $500 may be taken as an authorisation hold 2 days prior to check out and released no more than 7 days later. Some or all of the security deposit may be captured if there has been negligent behaviour or intentional damage to the property.
EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.
LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.
SOFA BED: Please advise us at the time of booking if you require the Sofa beds.
LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.
CHECK OUT
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.
INFANTS:
For families traveling with infants, please note that you will need to supply linen. Due to the sensitive nature of precious baby skin and the detergents often used by large commercial laundries, it is much better for you to use fabrics that are familiar to your baby`s skin to avoid any sensitivities or allergic reactions.
MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.
PETS: This is space is not suitable for pets.
