Many forest creatures come out at night. Often heard and seldom seen but intriguing all the same. By day the birds are in abundance and will put on a show for you on the bird feeder.
The kookaburras are at your service as a natural alarm every morning at daybreak.

Warburton is an attractive town on the Yarra River, nestled in a valley between heavily forested mountains, east of Lilydale and on the road to Mount Donna Buang.
The town has a multitude of cafes and other eateries, many housed in buildings which date back to Warburton's early beginnings as a mountain escape for Melburnians in the early 1900s.
The Visitor Information Centre is a prominent landmark in the main street, featuring a large replica of a water wheel used by the logging industry in the past.
Best to have your own transport however there is a bus that comes into town. The house is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Should this be your mode of transport, please advise and I will give directions.
