Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. Virgin Australia cancelled my flight home and rebooked on one three days later. So at 11pm I jumped on Expedia and found Punthill Sunshine. They were great, easy check-in and they had a toothbrush and toothpaste- my trip was a day trip. So I had nothing with me. The room was clean, the hotel is only 12 months old. Complimentary coffee (Nespresso) in the room and lobby. It’s a 5min walk to Sunshine station and they even gave me a late checkout ❤️ I would certainly stay with them again.

Nice and tidy room for two - 2 x single beds. Had a full fridge, stovetop, microwave and oven, which I didn't realize at booking - great to know for next time for a longer stay. One thing to note: I don't think there was a hairdryer but there was an ironing board and iron. A short stroll and you're at Sunshine station and so getting around is a breeze. The staff were very welcoming and helpful!

The property is very nice. And it is a few minutes to shops and station. We leave the car at the hotel and take a walk around 500m to Sunshine station to Melbourne CBD. We will come back for the next holiday.
