The check in was very poor, room wasn’t ready at 1455 - very rude staff explaining that 1500 is check in time. Multiple other guests were there checking in already, so wasn’t an odd request to check in at 1455!
We tried to go to the bar to wait the staff serving two ladies was not efficient, then when I thought it was my turn she said the group of 8+ sitting down was before me. Even though she saw I was standing waiting in line behind the women and didn’t allude to not being next in line.
The room was not clean, the carpet had nails sticking out where the carpet transitioned to tile near the kitchen.
The room had one queen bed, but when my son asked to sleep on a pull away instead of sharing the queen bed I was told the roll away is against the health and safety… even though there was a second room was a desk and it was well and truly a big enough room to accomodate a roll away. I even confirmed I am happy to pay for the roll away. When booking it did not clarify that I couldn’t book a roll away. A tad bit ridiculous in my opinion.
The buffet breakfast was a let down, a lot of soggy foods (bacon, sausage, potatoes etc).
When I inquired about parking on-site as I had $15 credit they indicated they can’t guarantee it. I asked what time we should arrive to be more likely to be able to get an onsite car park and they said it was first come first serve. Online it only indicated onsite parking not limited car parking.
Definitely will not stay again!
