Staff courteous and late check in accommodated. 2 bedroom room poorly designed. Each queen bed had only one bedside table. No shelves or dresser in bedroom. Bathrooms very small. Kitchen had no prep area on counter. Seating was a small two seater sofa plus 4 flimsy dining chairs. Dishwasher did not drain. Coffee maker leaked water, extractor fam did not work The apartment was reasonably clean and washer dryer in good condition. Fridge next to external door need the door to open the other way. Dry difficult to access fridge. In short the interior layout and design was very poor but beds were clean and comfortable. Would not stay again.

Great location and the apartment was exactly what I was hoping for. Staff at check in/check out were very good. Bonus that there is onsite parking. Amenities in the apartment were ok - amazing washer & dryer but I found cooking equipment limited e.g. one huge saucepan and a deep frying pan only so this pretty much dictated what I could prepare.

Views from level 33 across to Arts Centre, Yarra and City a bonus. Neat tidy well equipped and everything we needed for a getaway with friends. Close to Melbourne Recital Hall where we had a gig booked. Close to art gallery and arts centre and was able to organise and catch a dance performance while we were there. Would stay again.

The room did not have a city view. It looked out on a brick wall. I did complain to the staff they were very nice and show me a different room but was exactly like the room I had. Also the room was tired looking the carpet was stained and all the furniture was very mismatched. I won’t be going back to the Oaks apartment.

I completely understand that places need renovations and touch ups, but the plastic on the floors and protective sheets etc in the lifts really detract from your experience staying in what I wouldn’t call a cheap hotel. Also the carpet in the entry to our room was pretty disgustingly dirty and the aircon didn’t work.

we had a two bed two bathroom apartment, it was a very small apartment, particularly the main bedroom and bathroom, no space to put suitcases, only one bedside table and could only open the glass shower door inwards because of the small space.
