You do not have access to the sheds or workshops or the main residence/lodge. You are welcome to the remainder of the property at your leisure.

🌸 YARRA RIVER DIRECT ACCESS
You can access the Yarra River directly by walking down to the bottom of the property to the treeline. You will find a small bath down near the bathhouse that goes down to an ope river area.
There is shallow rocky area where you can put your feet in. A great spot for a picnic near the river.

We are a busy family with small children.
The easiest way to contact us is via message, we will be available with anything that you require, please message us directly for any assistance.
We do live on the property, and sometimes you may see us in the garden, otherwise, we keep to ourselves.

This property will be remotely managed and the main residence is to accommodate guests as of Christmas 2024 as we are personally relocating. You will then be sharing the gardens with other guests

🌸 We are in a quiet area just a few minutes from Warburton.

🌸 We have very quiet neighbours and everything is fairly private. We`re located directly on the Yarra River, here you can simply walk down the property and have your own private picnic and sitting area.

🌸 It is peaceful and away from the business of the town, yet very close by to attend all attractions.

🌸 We are also only a few minutes from the Redwoods Forrest by car.

🌸 There is a bus stop out the front of the property on the main road that heads back into Warburton and also out to the RedWoods Forrest.

Timetables are located on the bus stop itself or refer to the Public Transport Victoria website for more information.

The bus stop location is:
475 Woods Point Road,
East Waburton.
(bus stop name is- `Herbert Ave/Woods Point` - heading towards Warburton and `Hazelwood Road/Woods Point `- If heading out to the Redwoods Forrest/Reefon)

The last bus stop on the route is Whitegum Drive East Warburton

The bus does stop at Cement Creek Road - East Warburton for the RedWoods Forrest and it is then about a 10-15min walk into the reserve if walking from the bus stop. If driving, the RedWoods is 5 mins drive.

🌸 The closest train is located in Lilydale which will take you back to Melbourne CBD. It is a 1hr journey from Lilydale to Flinders Street Station. The bus from our property does go all the way to Lilydale and is approx 1hr journey.
The trains generally connect directly with the buses.

🌸 There is an IGA, Chemist, Post Office, Pub, Bendigo Bank and ATM located in the main centre of town alongside a service station and many small shops and cafes. There is a medical centre in Warburton and Yarra Junction alongside a Safeway in Yarra Junction which is cheaper than IGA and has more items.

It is approx 15mins drive to Yarra Junction if you require a large shopping trip.

🌸 Please be aware that we DO NOT have an oven, but it is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a microwave and an electric ceramic cooktop, and all pots and cookware are supplied. There is also an air-fryer in the cupboard and a toastie maker, toaster etc. We also offer a picnic basket with basics, cutlery, blanket, etc - just pack your own food and go.

Late check-out: LOVE A SLEEP-IN? 😴 For just $10 per hour after 10am, enjoy a relaxing late check-out until 12pm. Just let us know when booking and we will inform our staff.

🌸Fully sanitized: A professional cleaning service thoroughly cleans the cottage after each stay, with extra attention to high-touch areas to ensure your peace of mind. We have implemented a COVID-19, cleaning a hygiene plan.

🌸Heating + Cooling:
There is a split system system in the main living area, and fans in the main bedroom for summertime. The bedrooms have their own oil heaters/electric fireplaces and the lounge also has an electric fireplace. There are also many blankets available

🌸Bushfire safety: Warburton is in a bushfire-prone area, and on extreme fire risk days, bookings may be canceled for your safety. Please stay informed about local conditions and emergency protocols.

IMPORTANT INFO on our Bush Fire Policy
Please note that Warburton is in a heavily forested and mountainous area and on state Fire authority-rated ‘Code Red’ and ‘Extreme Fire Days’ We will not be taking bookings and travel to the area is not recommended. We will review current bookings for those days and reserve the right to cancel bookings, with a full refund or return booking provided. We will contact guests via email and provide as much notice as possible, according to weather forecasts. The safety of our guests is a priority. If guests are staying at Riverlin, and an emergency bushfire situation arises, we will do our best to contact you directly to alert you of this. However, it is our guest`s responsibility to keep themselves informed of local conditions and emergencies and act accordingly. We ask that every guest read our ‘Bushfire Emergency booklet’ located in the house and download the ‘Vic Emergency’ app when staying during our warmer months (Oct-March). This will alert you if any emergency situations are affecting Warburton and give advice on when and how to act
