Find a quiet moment with a book, enjoy a bath admiring the ancient trees and their stories, listen to the chorus of birdlife at dusk, or lay out a picnic in the rotunda as the afternoon light filters through the trees.

Other Things to Note:
Things you need to know about your off-grid stay
The experience
DSTNTN may look like a luxury hotel in its design, but the experience is completely different. It’s an off-grid stay designed to immerse you in nature, stillness and considered design. Each DSTNTN location is shaped by its natural environment, creating a stay that feels considered, immersive and meaningfully different.
Toilet system
The home uses a Cinderella incinerating toilet system, designed in Norway. It’s a clever and innovative off-grid system and often a point of fascination for guests who appreciate thoughtful technology and design.
Power system (solar)
The home runs fully on solar power, allowing you to enjoy an off-grid experience while staying connected to nature. The home is designed around mindful energy use, so high-energy appliances such as the split system are used thoughtfully rather than continuously. To help us keep the home running comfortably on solar, EV charging isn’t available and we ask that guests leave hairdryers at home.
Heating & cooling
The home has a solar-powered split system for heating and cooling, along with an electric blanket and a quality doona for cooler nights.
DSTNTN is designed to work in harmony with its natural environment — giving you the opportunity to slow down, switch off and experience something genuinely different.
