Gordon Place is unique building located between Exhibition and Spring streets, extending north from Little Bourke Street. It was named for Gordon House, situated near the intersection of Little Bourke and Spring streets. Gordon House was built as a guest-house in 1883 by politician and theatrical entrepreneur George Coppin.

The bedrooms are located on the lower level of the apartment accessible via stairs. Two bedrooms (one king bed and 2 singles beds) with split system for cooling/heating and panel heaters in the bedrooms.

BATHROOM INFORMATION:
Each bedroom has it own modern bathroom with starter kit of toiletries, soft towels, large walk-in shower, toilet and sink.
There is also a powder room in the living area.

LAUNDRY INFORMATION:
Washing machine, dryer, hangers, iron and drying rack for clothing are all available for guests to use during the stay.

OTHER NOTES:
Please ensure your booking has the correct number of guests listed to avoid a call out fee for extras, as linen and amenities are supplied based on this number. One towel per guest, plus a starter pack of toilet paper, bathroom amenities and basic kitchen supplies are included to get you started on your stay! If you are staying for more than a few days, please bring your additional requirements.

Old Melbourne Gaol – 850metres, 7mins drive, 4mins Tram ride and 12mins walk from the property via Nicholson St. On Russell Street in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, there is a former prison that is now a museum called The Old Melbourne Gaol. It is situated across from the Russell Street Police Headquarters and near to the former City Police Watch House and City Courts buildings. It comprises of a bluestone building and courtyard.

Melbourne Museum – 750metres, 7mins drive, 4mins Tram ride and 10mins walk from the property via Spring St/Bourke St. A natural history and cultural history museum, the Melbourne Museum is situated in Melbourne, Australia`s Carlton Gardens. a short distance from the Royal Exhibition Building.

Carlton Gardens – 450metres, 6mins drive and 6mins walk from the property via Spring St. The heritage-listed Carlton Gardens, a favorite spot for picnics and barbecues, are home to a variety of wildlife, including brushtail possums.

Fitzroy Gardens – 650metres, 4mins drive and 9mins walk from the property via Albert St. One of Melbourne`s oldest and most attractive gardens is Fitzroy Gardens. This is an excellent walk to do during your lunch break or a fantastic day out for kids and adults alike. It is one of Melbourne`s most stunning park gardens. Set up a picnic!

Royal Exhibition Building – 750metres, 4mins drive, 4mins tram ride and 9mins walk from the property via Nicholson St. The Royal Exhibition Building and the Carlton Gardens that surround it were created for Melbourne`s two major international exhibitions in 1880 and 1888.

- Body corporate rules and restrictions apply. We are not responsible for any changes, building works or facility closures that are our out of our control.

- Guests must be 25+ unless they are the dependents of the booking holder.

- Unfortunately guest limits apply. This means no groups, parties, gatherings or unregistered visitors.

- No one wants to pay $350 for smoking inside the property. That`s what it costs us to clean it if you do! Please ensure no smoking takes place inside the property and no evidence of smoking waste remains.

- The morning you vacate please wash up your dishes and put them away, or run a cycle of the dishwasher.

- Please put your waste in the bins outside. We understand sometimes these are left full on your arrival... If that`s the case please let us know. Additional waste or removal charges apply if we are charged by the cleaners and no one wants to pay for someone else`s rubbish!

- Please ensure noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm and silenced by midnight to avoid complaints.

- Should something require repairs or maintenance during your stay, please let us know ASAP so we can assist with troubleshooting and tradespeople if required. We are here to help! Should a call out be required, we will arrange that with the appropriate tradesperson and yourself directly to minimise any inconvenience to you during your stay. Unfortunately if there are issues found to be operator error or damage caused by the user, the cost will be passed on as would be the case in any short stay / hotel accommodation.

- ID is required to place your booking with us.

- We understand accidents happen but please let us know when they do. - Any breakages are charged at fair replacement value to you so please take care with our things.

- Keys and locks are expensive to replace. Please take care with the keys to avoid a $250 replacement charge.

-We love our pets too but our properties are pet free except for assistance animals unless otherwise advertised.

- Please leave the property as you found it :)

- Please turn off the AC when you go out.

- Please respect check-in and check-out times. We would love to be able to offer early check in or late check out but properties need to be cleaned and restocked between bookings.

- Please don’t rearrange the furniture. We don`t want you hurting yourselves.

- Lost property retrieval fee $45 plus postage.

- Late check-outs. Our cleaners are on strict rosters and work in groups of 3. A fee of $50 for every 10 minutes will be charged from 10am onwards. Eg; If you checkout at 10.15am then you will be charged a $75 fee to cover the costs of 3 cleaners time.

And it goes without saying that no illegal substances or activities are allowed on the premises.
