This is a very family friendly venue. The restaurant features an extensive menu with lots of dietary options and a great kids menu. As no breakfast is available on site it would have been great to have a toaster or microwave wave in the room.

the rooms were very clean the staff were great the STAFF at the pub i would not recommend they were not very good at there job one- they placed you at a table two- they finally took your order it took a while three- i had finished my meal i had to find a staff member to get my desert

Unfortunately the place is showing it's age, externally timber is rotting and downpipes rusting. Carpet had dirty spot and the timber bed base creaked all night. An upstairs occupant took my park out front of my room. Notes I put on my booking were either not past on by Expedia or ignored by business. Dining and meals were lovely

Property was clean,comfortable and conveniently locsted within walking distance to shops and train station. Room was spacious with adequate facilities and amenities. Rooms are looking tired and need refurbishing. Dining area is spacious, meals are generous and delivered promptly. Great cooking and serving team.

Great value for money and perfect for somewhere to stay while working in the area. Bistro meals were a little pricey but the food was good and the serving was generous. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable however the motel in general could do with renovation.

I love staying at the Dorset Stayed the last five weeks I wish they had better television with all free to air stations The available free to airchannels are very limited
