Staff were lovely! I had a problem with my initial room and was moved to another room. The new room itself was lovely apart from the loud airconditioner. The ground floor carpet in the hallway was disgusting, old and gathered in some parts. It also was not nice to have laundry in the area right outside the rooms- several cages of dirty sheets as well as clean. Overall the location was wonderful and the staff very lovely.

We were “upgraded” to the top floor. For anyone planning to stay at this hotel please note that the room on the top floor is only accessible via stairs. If this would be a problem for you I would advise to request to be on level 3 or below. The room felt dusty & dated. Ideal location for us though, right across from Southern Cross Station

Room had broken air conditioning that made awful noise and didn’t let us sleep. Even the shower door would make squeaky noise. Too small a room for such high price. Does not deserve to be a 3.5 star hotel.
