The beds were well worn. The beds in the “main room”, were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The single bed dipped into the middle. Otherwise it was clean, and the staff were pleasant.

The place is well located and clean, but it was the smallest room my wife and I have ever stayed in. Nowhere to put your case let alone carry on, where you didn’t have to squeeze past it or try and step over it. Very disappointing compared to what we saw in the photos for the rooms.

The location close to Southern Cross Station suited due to travel to and from the airport and regional Victoria. The economy room was suitable for an overnight stay; however, if staying for a longer period would recommend an upgrade

Good location, my room was small and dark looked out the window at a brick wall , the window blind was broken, shower repeatedly changed temperature, cracked tile on shower floor, ac/ heater smelt musty when turned on and corridor / hallway had stains on the carpet. Probably last visit .

Generally this was pretty good. Location wise this is really convenient. I had an apartment which has tidy albeit could have done with a bit of an upgrade (nothing that would prevent me coming back) The lifts were out of order for most of my stay and the room is quite loud so if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs

It’s ok…

This review is likely a little tainted by Jet-lag, but here goes: Positives: We had apartment 41 and it was a good size with a nice kitchenette feature to prepare and serve your own food. Bed was MASSIVE and pretty comfortable. Negatives: No information provided in check-in regarding breakfast, housekeeping etc. Trams start “donging” their bells outside the room from around 6am. Housekeeping was hit and miss; we put the “$10 voucher for no clean” outside the room and was not provided and then put a “make up room” sign outside another day which was not done and the sign still on the door after being out for 12 hours from 0900-2100. We’ve now checked into the Crowne Plaza and even the immediate welcome is chalk-and-cheese compared to Batman’s Hill on Collins.
