A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us!

The Luna suite at Aquila Nova was the perfect base to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. Arina greeted us just as we arrived and took us to the suite, and was an excellent host, making our stay extremely memorable. This is a great property, with a very large, lush garden with multiple levels, and the stay was very tranquil as a result. From the large room to the spa to the comfy bed to all the various amenities, including the fresh bread and juice and wine provided, made it the perfect stay. We'll definitely be back again, and highly recommend a stay at Aquila Nova, you won't regret it! Thanks so much Arina and Alex for the amazing getaway!

The consideration given to customer comfort was amazing, they thought of everything. The quality of the breakfast and food was first rate. To be honest, I felt with the price we paid for a night, that wasn't even a public holiday was too high. The room smelt musty, the traffic on the road was noisy and there was only one small screen on the front door to get any fresh air. We also couldn't get any T.V channel reception and had to watch the show we wanted on our phone. Being honest, I wouldn't return for that price. I am usually someone who tries to leave a good review but I felt that future customers need to be fully informed.

Stunning place worth staying

Stayed one night in the Luna suite and wished I had booked more nights. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at anywhere. We arrived to find a beautifully baked bread roll, still warm from an oven, waiting for us on the kitchenette bench. Best tasting roll I've eaten in a long time. Lovely olive oil and balsamic was supplied. The four poster bed was made immaculately and the place itself was utterly spotless. Everything was perfect and the attention to detail was flawless - from how the cushions were arranged on the sofa, even to how the cutlery was arranged in the drawers! The views onto the garden were very relaxing. Good quality coffee and condiments. Breakfast supplies were utterly fresh. Amazing manuka honey toiletries in the bathroom. Spa bath was relaxing. Can't fault the place! Do yourself a favour and stay here. I will definitely come back here for a longer stay.

Lovely room with spa

We really enjoyed our stay in the Sol room. There was so much attention to detail, from providing bath salts for the spa to including little chocolates around the room. Gorgeous views of camellia trees and the forest over the road. And the gardens on the property are really beautiful. We went for a wander one night and found a sugar glider in one of the trees. We ended up spending a whole morning just sitting at the little table, reading and sketching. It was very comfortable and cosy.
